Synergy General Contractors is a full-service general contracting company founded in 2006. We have expertise of over 94 years of successful experience in the construction industry. This gives us a formidable base of project experience, workmanship, dependable contacts, and regulatory knowledge of building codes. We bring a level of professional expertise and experience in our field to help the clients maximize their efforts in their core competencies and provide a balanced focus between project-specific goals and the long-term needs of the client. Thus, we are willing to provide services for smaller jobs that many larger companies refuse. Our mission is to maximize value for our clients by executing projects through minimizing cost and schedule while maintaining high quality. We remain highly involved in each phase of every project from the initial concept through occupancy is completed. Synergy General Contractors embrace a Lean Management approach and a culture that emphasizes collaboration, reliability of scheduling, and delivery of the most value from the client’s perspective while consuming the fewest resources. Beginning with pre-construction and continuing nonstop throughout all phases of a project. Lean principles drive the efficient delivery of our services. The lean culture emphasizes re-imagining and eliminating waste in all forms and creating predictable, reliable workflows. On projects that develop and maintain a Lean culture of continuous improvement, our project teams have experienced improvements in design team and trade contractor relationships, communication, scope definition, coordination, cost, and schedule performance. Some fundamental principles of Lean Management are: • Define value from the customer's perspective. • Understand the value stream of all steps in the process used to create the product. • Reduce waste, not only in the field but also unnecessary overhead, providing cost- savings to the client. • Ensure a smooth flow of value-added activities. • Utilize collaborative scheduling to provide value to each internal and external customer. • Efficient in-house accounting and payment practices • Seek perfection by committing to continual improvement in all areas of the process. We implement Lean thinking to establish a clear definition of the owner’s needs, including the scope and hands-off criteria for all trade specialists, and to manage hand-offs between trade specialists rigorously. Based on a Master Schedule with key milestones, stakeholders develop the specific plan for each phase in a collaborative scheduling workshop. The object is to keep the team working on well-defined deliverables at a reliable and predictable pace and to eliminate rework and waiting.Testimonials
