Real Estate Sales Team Manager

Job Description:

Welcome is changing the way people buy homes, and we want you to help build Welcome! We are a fast-growing, venture-backed startup building new homes that are purchased online, customized, and delivered in six months at an incredible value.


We are looking for a New Construction Real Estate Sales Team Manager to lead our sales center, convert leads to committed buyers, provide sales support to brokers, assist in land selection, and sell upgrades. You will ensure every customer has an incredible experience in their home buying journey with Welcome. Having a background in new development/new construction sales is a requirement. 


What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing all inside sales activities with customers 
    • Owning new customer relations from initial connection to conversion to contract
    • Explaining how the Welcome Home process works and the advantages of our product
    • Creating a real relationship with customers
    • Communicating customer needs back to our teams 
    • Guiding offers, contracts, and financing
    • Using Hubspot to track and move prospects through the pipeline
    • Explaining all purchase agreement documentation including land and home contracts
  • Designing an experience with multiple touch-points to ensure customers are always up-to-date on the process of their build and have a direct connection to ask questions and get help
  • Leading and training sales team and establishing the team’s service policies and practices
  • Ensuring that team is tracking on KPIs
  • Managing sales reports, weekly meetings, prospect status tracking, sales activity, commitments and closings
  • Leading and participating in onsite prospecting events, offsite broker outreach activities, and design selection meetings
  • Analyzing processes and other key metrics to drive continual improvement
  • Collaborating with project marketing teams to develop effective sales tools and messaging
  • Working closely with Directors and VPs to build better processes, tools and customer experience

  • Organized.  You know how to prioritize work streams and timely communications while multitasking on inbound calls.
  • Experienced. You have a minimum of three years of sales experience in new construction with a proven track record in leading a team.
