Director of Business Development - Institutional Partnerships

We’re seeking a Director of Business Development - Institutional Partnerships to join our team. Your primary responsibilities are to strategize and execute a plan to launch a build-to-rent product for institutional clients You will own the strategy and report directly to our CEO. Prior roles in institutional real estate sales is a necessary ingredient to success in this role.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Creating a strategy to launch a new build-to-rent product

  • Coordinating internally with the Welcome team to align the resources needed to launch and grow the program

  • Originate positioning, content, and funnel for the product

  • Recruit and manage a team to grow the pipeline after launch

  • Work with web to create any online experiences needed to support customers

 

What you’ll need:


  • Extremely good technical skills - we are a tech startup and everything is done online

  • Prior experience working in institutional sales or partnerships, preferably real estate focused

  • Proven track record of building high functioning teams

  • Excellent reporting/presentation skills

  • Proficiency in complex financing deals
